TEDx Morelia Women Talk – Creativity and Authenticity

Context:
to speak at TEDx Morelia Women, an edition focused on ideas shared by women transforming their communities through their work and voice.

Objective:
To inspire the audience to reconnect with their creativity by embracing authenticity, imperfection, and personal expression through art.

Role:
I was the speaker and visual creator of the entire talk. I illustrated a set of original visuals that accompanied the presentation, designed to communicate ideas without using text or speech in the visuals.

Process:
The concept revolved around my own journey as an artist—moving from self-doubt to embracing my unique creative voice. For the presentation, I challenged myself by working with a completely black background, something I had never done before. I combined storytelling techniques, neuro-oratory tools, and custom illustrations to visually guide the audience through key moments of the talk. The entire set of slides was created to spark imagination rather than provide written content, inviting the audience to interpret and feel the message.

Outcome:
The talk was presented to a live audience of over 200 people and is now available on the official TEDx Talks YouTube channel. It resonated with individuals who had paused their creative paths out of fear or doubt, encouraging them to reclaim creativity as a tool for personal connection and transformation.
