Bullerbyn illustrations

Context:
I illustrated characters for Bullerbyn, a Polish children's clothing brand, adding playful stories to enhance the brand's identity.

Objective:
The goal was to create engaging illustrations that differentiate Bullerbyn in a competitive market while reflecting the personal touch of the brand’s founder, Pau.

Role:
As the lead illustrator, I conceptualized and designed the characters and their stories, collaborating closely with Pau to align the visuals with her vision for Bullerbyn.

Concept:
For this project, I created two characters: Valentina, a nature-loving girl who collects butterflies and flowers, and Alek, a boy with an imaginative mind who dreams of becoming a magician. These characters tell playful stories designed to captivate children while evoking a sense of nostalgia for adults. The illustrations serve as key components of Bullerbyn’s branding, enhancing its differentiation in a competitive market by providing a memorable and emotionally engaging experience. The playful typography, with irregular lines and vibrant yellow tones, reflects the brand’s creative and childlike essence, ensuring versatility across various digital applications, from social media content to marketing materials.

Outcome:
The final illustrations enhanced Bullerbyn’s branding, providing a memorable and emotionally engaging experience for customers while fostering an authentic connection with the audience.
